Which do you prefer: tea or coffee? Coffee with ample amounts of creamer.
What is a book that you have read more than once that you would recommend? Jane Austen’s Persuasion is a favorite. The novel just gets better and better every time that I read it. And it has one of the most gorgeous love letters in all of literature.
Do you have a hero of the faith? If I had to pick a woman from this first season of “Women of the Church,” it would have to be Hannah More. She maintained an ardent faith in God while having a successful literary career and contributing to numerous philanthropies. And she had a great sense of humor. She knew how to take the things of God seriously but to not take herself too seriously. I admire that.

Which do you prefer: tea or coffee? Coffee. Tea is for sick people and the Queen. Useless plant water.
What is a book that you’ve read more than once that you’d recommend? I adore C.S. Lewis’s Chronicles of Narnia. I’ve read through the entire series at least twice.
Do you have a hero of the faith? Corrie ten Boom. The Hiding Place wrecked me and her story of courage and faith is so inspiring.
Yeni Warr Marketing Advisor

Which do you prefer: tea or coffee? Tea, all sorts of tea. I should go to England and drink tea.
What is a book that you have read more than once that you would recommend? The Art of War was part of my curriculum in college. I really liked the history of it and the timelessness of it.
Do you have a hero of the faith? Esther Ahn Kim is a Christian Korean woman that survived being tortured for her beliefs in Japanese prison for 6 years. She endured it all while spreading the gospel. That amount of strength makes her a hero in my eyes.
We believe that the Church is a spiritual organism made up of all believers everywhere for all time. (Ephesians 1:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14)
We believe that God exists eternally in the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1-3; Genesis 1:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 John 1:1-4)
We believe that God the Father is the first person of the eternal, triune, God. (Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16; Numbers 23:19; Deuteronomy 7:9; Romans 8:28; 1 Chronicles 29:11; Romans 11:33; John 3:16-17; 1 John 4:7-10; Ephesians 1:12)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of the eternal, triune God who became a man, lived a sinless life, died on a cross, was buried, and physically rose from the grave to redeem sinful humanity. (John 1:1-2, 14; Luke 1:35; Romans 3:24; 1 Peter 2:24; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:3-5; Ephesians 2:1-10)
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the the eternal, triune God; that the Holy Spirit is the supernatural agent in salvation, birthing all christians into the kingdom of God at conversion, thereby indwelling and sealing them until the day of Jesus' return. (John 16:8-11; 2 Corinthians 3:6; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Romans 8:9; Titus 3:5)
We believe that God created all humans in his image; he created them uniquely, male and female. (Genesis 1:26-27)
We believe that all humans are sinful and in need of salvation. Salvation is the gift of God, brought to humanity by grace alone, and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Christians are kept by God's power, forever. (Genesis 1:26-27; John 1:12, 6:37-40, 10:27-30; Romans 3:22-23, 5:12, 8:1, 38-39; 1 Corinthians 1:4-8; Ephesians 1:7; Ephesians 2:1-3, 8-10, 12-13; 1 Peter 1:3-5, 18-19).
We believe that God wrote the Bible, through men, without error. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Matthew 5:18)
